The Leadership Training Institute prepares graduates of the Radio Rootz program to become trainers themselves!

Through a series of workshops and seminars Institute Fellows build on their radio production and media literacy skills and become equipped with leadership and training skills. Fellows are also introduced to new topics such as community organizing and media policy.

Fellows have the opportunity to put these skills into practice and gain work experience as Peer Trainers of the Summer Media Organizing Project.
