Please join us at the debut screening of "The Internet is Serious Business," a video by People's Production House, CUP, and City-As-School.
An alien comes to New York City to discover how humans communicate and
is intrigued by the crazy network of cables, routers, and servers that
we call the Internet. Who made it? Who owns it? How does all that stuff
work? Join us at Anthology Film Archives for the debut screening of the
video "The Internet is Serious Business." People's Production House
worked with CUP Teaching Artist Helki Frantzen and students from
City-As-School to produce this investigation into the physical
infrastructure that undergirds the Internet.
For a preview, check out the work-in-progress clips from the Digital Expansion video team: "Upload/Download" and "Telco Hotel."
