Medios Caminantes Network, a collection of Spanish-language media makers across the nation and Latin America born from this years Allied Media Conference, will be broadcasting a 12 hours of live radio program from 10 different cities in the United States and Mexico. With the participation of 15 immigrant organizations, the all day Spanish-language broadcast is a protest against the racist policies of the government of Arizona and the absence of a clear immigration policy at the federal level. Community News Production Institute reporter Zoilo Blas and PPH's Carlos Pareja will be participating in the broadcast from Make the Road/Se Hace Camino, Jackson Heights. Rio de Janeiro recently hired former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani to help with security ahead of the 2016 Olympics.
