On February 3rd, 100 New Yorkers who are part of the grassroots coalition Right to The City-NY stormed into a NYC hotel where Mayor Michael Bloomberg was speaking to business leaders about the city's fiscal situation.

Eight of the organizers were arrested and detained by the NYPD. The following day, all eight were released pending "criminal trespassing" charges. They are due back to court on March 13th to learn their fate. Community News Production Institute reporter Abdulai Bah filed this report for Free Speech Radio News.
