New Yorkers Say They Need More Time to Prepare for Digital TV Transition

President Barack Obama has asked Congress to delay the transition to digitial TV so that people don't get blank screens.



About 6.5 million U.S. households are not prepared for the switch-over date of February 17. A vote to approve the delay is set for February 4. Community News Production Institute reporter, Florence Mafomemeh, spoke to New Yorkers who want Congress to allow more time for the switchover.
