People’s Production House (PPH) is a non-profit organization fulfilling the promise of citizen and community journalism by closing the gap in skills and access.
 
The following is a listing of Media Training Workshops PPH offers to adult and youth organizers and community members looking to expand their skills and understanding in new media, communications, and technology.  Trainings are offered in English or Spanish and conducted in a collaborative, community setting where ideas are shared and participants receive individualized attention.

Media Training Workshops


In every workshop, each participant receives curriculum materials and creates an audio product of their design (see Audio Products).
 
Each workshop can be tailored by length (see Customize) and for specific groups.

Audio Products

After every workshop, each participant walks away with a product they have conceptualized, created, and used to learn.  These audio products can be used as powerful organizing tools.

  • Distributed to elected officials to persuade them to support the campaign.
  • To be used during member meetings to introduce new members to the group's organizing strategy

  • In Spanish and distributed to Spanish-speaking laborers to inform them of their rights, protections and where to go for assistance
