Styling the Header

For styling purposes it's ideal to add a line between the first sentence (or Lede) and the rest of the text content. This way you can "Highlight" your lede. (It makes your article look interesting keeps it looking interesting)
  • Add a space between your first sentence by hiting the return or enter key on you keyboard until you have at least one line of black space (you can edit later as you'd like)
  • Highlight your first sentence
  • On the top row of the editor tools is the "--Styles--" drop down menu.
  • Locate and select the "Highlight" appropriate for your program. (highlight-cnpi, highlight-rootz, highlight-dei, highlight-pph)
Often times, it doesn't work on the first try. if this is so, highlight the text again and give it another go, or repeat until it does.  -This is usually due to the embedded HTML coding and is sometimes unavoidable. If you're unable to get it to work, no worries, ask the webmaster to code it for you

To upload an audio file:

  • click the “Image” button (located at the bottom-left of the text box)
  • In the browser popup window, locate and click on the “audio” folder
  • You will be presented with four program folders; (CNPI, DEI, PPH & Radio Rootz)
Depending on your program and/or your programs’ program, folder structures may vary. Click on the appropriate folder, depending on your program. This makes it easier for you to locate your audio file.once you select the appropriate folder, scroll to the bottom of the popup to the “Upload” dialog

  • Click on the “Local Media” tab and locate your audio file in the drop down menu
  • Once you’ve located and selected your audio file, click the “Insert” Button (located at the bottom of the popup window)
You’ll notice a special code has been inserted into your article. The code represents the audio player, this means, wherever it is located in the article while editing, represents it’s location when saved. You can align it just like text (Left, Center and/or Right)
