Chilean Activist Victor Toro Faces Deportation

On July 6, 2007 Victor Toro, a Chilean national was arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol while on board Amtrak in Rochester, New York. He was transferred to Cayuga County Jail in Auburn.

US immigration is now threatening to deport the Human Right Activist back to his home country. Supporters gathered at Victor's final deportation  hearing on August 26 to express their support. CNPI reporter Jaisal Noor was at the hearing to file this report for Free Speech Radio News.
