CNPI Monthly Show: New Yorkers Decry The New MTA Fare Hikes

In partnership with Global Movement Urban Struggles, CNPI produced its hour-long monthly show that aired live on WBAI 99.5FM on June 30th at 10AM.

In this month's show, we look at the latest MTA fare hikes with reactions from New Yorkers. Joel Kelsey, Policy Analyst with Consumers Union joins us to talk about the recent switch from analogue to digital television, Ai-Jen Poo and Jocelyn Gil-Campbell of Domestic Workers United give us an update on the Bill of Rights, Omar Henriquez of the Census Bureau talks about the upcoming 2010 census, and our reporter, Florence brings us a report on the housing crisis faced by victims of domestic violence.
